Does the sight of Ryan’s seemingly effortless handstands make you frustrated? How about Jarlo’s extreme flexibility?
Sometimes it’s easy to forget that impressive complex movements like handstands all start with learning the basic movements, and applying a lot of time, dedication, and practice to your training (the guys of GMB have been practicing these skill sets for years!). The entire complex movement may be out of your reach right now, but GMB can help you get there – that’s what we’re here for!
Have you felt this way when starting one of our programs? How did you feel when you finally got it? Share below!

Great video.
It is sooooo true. When I first got Rings1, I couldn’t even do a shoulder stand on the rings. But after going back to level A and doing phase 1 for a month, I figured I’d try to do a shoulder stand, and I was finally able to do it. Now I can even do a bent arm stand. So I have been getting results. Using proper form is the key. You might be able to do 100 push-ups, but once you try doing some push-ups without flaring your elbows and with your elbow pits pointing forward every time you won’t get 100 reps. However, you’ll definitely get a lot stronger.
I can safely say that I haven’t plateaued at all ever since I started using the GMB programs.
So even if one move looks impossible at first, just keep working hard and you’ll get it
I just started with GMB so I am still in phase 1 but I have my get-there-now-itis under control. lol. The hard part is quieting that part of your brain that says there is no way I am going to ever be able to do that but i managed to put a muzzle on that bastard, lol. It isn’t easy but I finally did. I find that once you automatically tell yourself that you can’t, guess what no matter what you do you won’t be able to so I have learned to suspend disbelief and practice, practice, practice (quality of course) till I get it. Thanks again for this post. lol
